Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.
Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a home for Scientology religious services and community programmes. The anniversary included a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.
Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired news eugene by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
